An entrepreneur at heart, Rafael co-founded Smarter Loans with his best friend Vlad in 2016. Both of them spent years helping financial brands with their digital marketing and noticed the industry was full of scams, predatory lenders and non licensed loan providers. They decided to launch Smarter Loans to be a directory of only the most credible and trusted alternative (non-bank) lenders in Canada. The goal with Smarter Loans is to educate Canadian consumers about great financing options available to them.
